WITHIN TEMPTATION Honored At 'Buma Music In Motion Awards'

On April 28, Dutch female-fronted symphonic metallers WITHIN TEMPTATION were honored at the Buma Music In Motion Awards (BMMAs) for the three short films ("Mother Maiden", "Sinéad", "Shot in The Dark") which were produced alongside the band's recently released fifth studio album, "The Unforgiving". The award was presented to WITHIN TEMPTATION for the most innovative cross media concept.

A conceptual effort, "The Unforgiving" is based on the story line of the comic series "The Unforgiving" written by Steven O'Connell (BloodRayne, Dark 48) and illustrated by Romano Molenaar (Witchblade, Darkness, X-Men).

The short films, which were directed by Joeri Holsheimer, were shot with an English cast and produced by Storm Post Production. A part of the comic story line is brought to life in the three short films in a very stylish, yet surreal black-and-white setting underlined by beautiful score.

The three short films were published via the band's online portal, a bonus DVD alongside the new CD release and via a mobile application.

Buma Music In Motion Awards recognize composers and companies who have made a special contribution to an innovative musical media product.

"The Unforgiving" registered the following first- and second-week chart positions:
