PRIMORDIAL were voted Best Underground Band at Metal Hammer’s Golden Gods Awards 2011, which were held at The O2 on Monday night!PRIMORDIAL singer A.A. Nemtheanga was there to pick up the award and wants to thank everyone who voted for the band: “First things first we have to thank all the Primordial fans out there who voted for us in the Golden Gods awards, the fact that it was not an Industry insider awards makes it that more important and a small victory for real music made with honesty, passion, craft and guile. It's not everyday a band like us who stand well outside the general confines of the mainstream receive awards so we take it in the good grace it was meant and thank Hammer and Metal Blade UK for all their efforts, hopefully we will be over for some UK gigs before the end of the year. No compromise, not now, not then, not ever.”
